About signing up for the Housing Application on April 6

<p>So... I'm signing up for housing and I found a room mate who I'm looking forward to dorming with. Are the applications online? And how do you notify in your application that you want to room with a certain person? </p>

<p>Also..what are the chances of getting a room shared with 3 people?</p>

<p>Requesting a Specific Roommate</p>

<p>You may request a specific roommate on your application. Your request will be accommodated if:</p>

<pre><code>*Both applications have concurring information; and,
*Both applications are submitted at approximately the same time; and,
*Both applicants are in the same Priority Group; and,
*Space is available.

<p>Please Note</p>

<p>You will be asked to enter your requested roommate’s UW student number on the application in order to make your request. Entering any other information will cause the application system to reject your request. Please be sure that you and your requested roommate know one another’s UW student numbers before beginning the application.</p>

<p>Your Theme Community request will supersede your roommate request, unless your roommate also requests and is eligible for that Theme Community.</p>

<p>If you do not specify a roommate, you will be assigned one by the Student Services Office. Your responses to the smoking and lifestyle questions on the application will be taken into consideration when your roommate is assigned.

<p>I still have not yet received the letter containing myUW information to set up an online account. I requested one in March and another one a few days ago but the latter time to a different address. Anyway, so a few days ago I got this housing and food services email; does this mean I am admitted or do all applicants receive this email?</p>

<p>does anyone know how this themed community works?
my roommate and i are applying for pre-health science community and for majors we applied to uw as pre-health sciences, pre-major.
we also put our intended major as biochemistry.
uw said something about being “eligible to be in the themed community,” which sounds like our majors must be related to health-sciences.
will the housing people let us get into this community?</p>
