to admitted students visiting during fling weekend:

if you aren't a current student, you need to pay a current student $20 to buy you a pass to get into spring fling.

there is no other way to visit fling; tours will not enter quad during fling, and admitted students are not allowed into quad without a pass.

so basically we have to know a current student to be able to go?

yes indeed; not enough room for other visitors (and current students can only buy two passes each)

can we still go to the concert without a pass?

well you need to buy a ticket, which is $35 advance / $40 day-of

Will the frats be open to everyone? How’s that work? If we already have an ID we just walk in, get the wristband that says we can drink, and then rage?

are you guys taking your parents to the previews???

my parents insist on coming…

So I got a friend to get me all the necessary tickets, but… do any other incoming freshman go to these things. I feel like i will be lost haha

Haha, well I wouldnt count on getting into any frats unless you know ppl here or you are an attractive girl. Plus gonna be hard to know where to go. Good luck tho

i’m going with my mom… ugh… but she’s the one with the credit card and the hotel reservations… but i think im going to the concert and hoping for some miracle that i can get away from my mom and meet someone or something to actually enjoy myself… i doubt that will happen tho.
