My school doesn't have Academic Decathlon, but I think it should.
How am I supposed to start Academic Decathlon at my school?
Should I talk to the principal?

If your school has a club startup procedure (most do), then fill out the form, find a sponsor, get it approved, have a stand at club rush.

If not, talk to the principal.

Also make sure there are other schools which will compete against you because it will become boring going against people in your school.

Well, you should talk to your principal or someone in charge because the materials cost about 700 dollars when all is said and done.

Yeah, the materials are really expensive. I am sure there will be other schools to go against, because it is a national competition.

People are already preparing for this year (which I should be doing), so you would want to try and start it for next year. This will give you time to get everything into order. Good luck!

You're going to need someone with TEH MONEY to sponsor you. Materials are very expensive. Going to competitions is expensive. Its all very expensive! I don't know how you alone can pull it off or persuade the principle to do it. You're going to need some help.

We've spent $1,200+ on materials so far.
