about subject tests

okay so what is the general opinion on the score range that we should aim for on the subject tests for Georgetown and schools of equal caliber?

I'm guessing that below 600 will hurt you

600-699 will not hurt or help

and above 700 will help

Is this about right? I couldn't find any score ranges for Georgetown on the collegeboard website or the Georgetown homepage so I'm just assuming. If anyone else agrees or has a different opinion could you reply? I'm debating whether or not to take them again in January.

Well, someone I know with a low 500 on one of the science SAT II tests got into SFS.

from what ive heard, Georgetown and colleges in general give little deference to subject tests. they do look at the tests in the admission process but it is a small factor. the subject tests are used more for placement if accepted.
