I've heard that USC superscores, meaning that they combine the highest scores of each section of all the SATs you took, so does that mean I have to send in any of the SATs I took that were used to superscore?

For instance, if I took a reasoning test and received a score, and in hopes of improving the overall score, I retook it and did pretty similar to how I did on my first one, with the only difference being that I scored higher on one section, do I have to send in both SATs to the school so that they can verify when they superscore?

Your grades and scores must come to the college through official channels. So for high school grades the official transcript comes directly from your school. For the SAT scores they come directly from the College Board. In your situation you advise the College Board which SAT scores to send to which college. The college does the superscoring, and so they need all the exams that apply to the superscoring. The College Board does not send partial scores, so the college see all the sections for all the exams that apply.
