Do you send all of your SAT scores and do they get superscored?

I've taken the SAT twice. So, when sending my scores, do I send both sets of SAT scores? And if I do, do they automatically get super scored? The common app simply asks for your best scores so I don't know if I'm only supposed to send my top three section scores, and if I am, how do I do that? Sorry if this seems stupid, but I know pretty much nothing about this process.

Okay, that’s a lot of questions, lemme try them one at a time… First of all, if your superscore is higher than each individual score, then I suggest that you do send both. I’m pretty sure it’ll cost the same. And no, every school will not automatically superscore. Each school has its own policies regarding that, so you can either look it up or post the names of the schools you’re interested in. As for the common app, I’m not really sure where it asks to send the best scores. For me, it asks how many times I’ve taken each test, and then you can put in each score accordingly. And no, you cannot just send individual section scores to colleges. That works with subject tests, but not with SAT I. So I suggest that you just go ahead and send both of your scores to the schools you’re interested in.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response! Yeah, my super score is higher than each of my individual scores. So I guess I’ll just send both sets of SATs. Thanks again for the help, you’re a life saver.
