About to Cross Wesleyan off my college list...

Hey guys

I'll make it quick. I recently became extremely interested in Wesleyan until I found information on a website that said Wes requires three credits of a foreign language.

Can someone please confirm this? I have only taken two credits of Spanish (freshman and sophomore year). If this info is in fact true, should I just cross Wes off my college list?

Are there any current Wes students who applied with only 2 credits?

Thanks a lot! Oh and by the way, I did contact the admissions office via email a few days ago but did not get a reply so I'm posting this here. Thanks!

It’s just a recommended set of courses that you should take.
It says on their website: “a single Foreign Language taken through the fourth year.”
And it’s recommended meaning although they’d prefer that you do, as long as you can show that the last two years of your High School has been spent with good courses rather than empty courses, you should be fine.

Alot of LAC’s prefer years of Foreign Language it seems…but all recommended. :)

You should still apply if you are interested.
