My university requires that students reach a certain level of language fluency in order to graduate and that I take spanish courses at my school all the way until I reach that degree of fluency. The problem is that my university is also absurdly expensive ($160+ per hour of spanish instruction in a class of 20). Given that a private tutor would be less than a third of the price and also significantly more effective I’m planning on taking private lessons over the summer to meet the requirement. However, I am only allowed to transfer credit if I pass a course at an accredited university. Does anyone know of a third-year online Spanish program that is inexpensive and low stress that I could take as a stand-in to get credits for private instruction. I don’t really care about learning from the course - hopefully my tutor will be adequate for that - I just want to be able to also get credits for the information I’m learning and the time I’m spending learning it.
See if you can CLEP out of it.
