AC class P/NP for biology major pre-med good or bad idea?

I'm trying to do minimum credit (13) for the fall semester (btw incoming freshman) and thinking about pre-med with major in biology. Since my high school did not have AC courses (out state) I chose Anthro 2AC which people say it's great class. I don't want to hurt my GPA and I already have Bio 1B, which I heard very heavy load, and Math 16A with COMPSI seminar.

Is it a good idea to have my grade as P/NP for Anthro 2AC?

Thanks!

If it’s only for your AC requirement and you don’t need the class for anything else, then I don’t see why it’s not a bad idea, especially if you’re worried about your GPA.

Why are you worried? What do you think it’ll affect?

eh anthro 2ac is supposed to be pretty easy. I’d letter grade it.

Don’t take it for pass/no pass.

You can test it out at letter grade first. If you think it’s manageable, there’s a deadline that by which you can change it back to P/NP.
