I tried my best to find the Academics needed for Acceptance at BoCo but couldn’t.

Could someone please brief me on what they are or point me in the right direction?

Thank you so much.

The academic bar to get into BOCO is not very high.

Here, from their website:

They will rate your audition w/ much more weight than your academics. That being said, my D was able to use her AP scores to opt out of classes thus freeing her up to take some classes she is interested in. Good luck!

If you are a decent student, academics will not be a problem (as it isn’t at many of the MT schools - with some exceptions like NYU and Northwestern) Even Carnegie Mellon, which has a strong academic reputation especially in the sciences and technology, weighs their audition as 80% of acceptance. In the conservatory approach, you will have few academic classes - most will be in voice, dance and acting in all their variations.

The people in their admissions office are really helpful. You’ll get the best info if you talk to them directly.
