Hello everyone, I previously attended CSULB as the title mentions, and I was academically disqualified after the Spring of 2017. I was negligent and dismissive of my responsibilities, although it only took me a few months to realize that I had made a huge mistake. My GPA before dismissal was about a 1.2 (I know it’s incredibly low). Fast forward to Spring of 2019, I enrolled at my local community college, PCC, and began taking courses. As of today, I have managed to finish the IGETC requirements and complete the Honors Program, earning roughly 65 units with a 4.0 GPA, and acquiring an Associates for transfer in Business. It is college application season and I am weighing my potential options, and admittedly I am overly ambitious at the moment because I am hoping that my hard work can speak for itself and attest to my shift of motivation. I am thinking of applying to UC’s such as UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara, as well as CSU’s and a few private schools in the area. What are my chances of successfully earning a transfer spot at some of these universities, with a tainted academic history such as my own?
