So I am a transfer student who has been attending UCSD for two years, and almost completed most of my major requirement for economics. When I came to UCSD, my gpa was roughly about 3.6, and currently, my UC gpa is around 2.5. However, when it combines, it should be around 3.2. During the first quarter in UCSD, I had gotten a Subject to Disqualification, because of not getting used to the new environment. As time goes by, my gpa was able to be raised, and I finally got back to Good Standing, except I got a quarter of academic probation because of taking some other difficult upper division classes.

Let's say if I got Subject to Disqualification again, what will happen to me, since I have already finished most courses with passing grade for my major, and I only have with 4 to 5 classes to go? Let's say if I really get disqualified, where should I go? As far as I know, if I get disqualified, I have one chance to get readmitted again but I have to stay in a community college for three quarters or two semesters. Here is the problem. I have almost done with the GE requirement, only with two to three classes left. If I go back to a community college, I can only take some easy classes, which are fine for me to do so, but will I still be able to get readmitted by UCSD, since I have already finished most upper division classes for my major? Should I switch to a easier major? Let's say international studies in economics? (Only required 8 classes of upper division classes for economics, which I have already completed, and 5 other secondary track courses)
