So grades have been released and I got a 1.425 term GPA but my overall GPA is still above 2.0. I understand that this will put me on subject to disqualification. Does it means I will get kicked out instantly? I was in good standing in winter. I can't believe this is really happening... what is the best thing I should do? Any input will be appreciated.

nevermind. it turns out the grades are not as bad as i thought, which was a relief. but you guys are still welcome to answer because i was unable to find relevant information online and i am sure other people in similar situation will be appreciated. thanks guys!

Well, Im a tad bit in the same situation as you. However I have 2 pieces of information that are totally different from each other.
(1) I phoned in to UCSD and they said I have to get over or even at the 3.00 GPA bar with all the courses I took this year–including electives.
(2) On this website: [OASIS Transition Programs Application Checklist](http://students.ucsd.edu/academics/_organizations/oasis/transition-programs/checklist.html)
it said that we need a minimum of 3.00 GPA with a-g courses.

@shambles i think the OP is already a UCSD student, whereas you are an incoming UCSD student…

transfer or freshman? I think if you re a transfer and u sign SIR , it said u need at least a pass in your last term

sorry my bads. gl on ur studies bro

OP should talk to their a academic advisor in person. It seems that there are a number of unwritten factors that play into the disqualification decision.
