Academic Games, other social studies competitions

I've founded a Social Studies Honor Society in my school, and I'd love to have our club compete in some competitions. What kinds of competitions are out there, preferably related to humanities/social studies? Which ones have you guys participated in?

There's not a lot of information that I can find, possibly because I don't know any names to search.

Thanks for your help!

Hopefully, you don't meet the qualifications for the club you've founded...that would be hilarious.

AAA Travel Challenge: http://www.aaa.com/travelchallenge/

It's an online thing though (for the preliminaries), and it occurs in January annually.

I assume they announced who won the online contest for that kchen? Guess I didn't get it, oh well...is there anyway to find your score anyways? I forgot I took that thing

logisticslord: is that supposed to be funny, your comment? =/ because it truly isnt.

well, that would be funny....like what is the grade requirement to get in??

isnt the deca- an academic competition? i did it in middle school. but sure if it counts?

like gpa-wise, you have to have a 3.25 uw gpa, and 3.5 gpa for social studies classes.

You have to be in high school. That's all there is to entering.

i am .

Well I know that for the contest, but can you see what you got, like how many wrong even if you didn't qualify?? I took it and obviously did not win because others google the freaking thing...but can I see what I did get from when I took??

I don't think it's possible to see your score. I mean, thousands of students took it. It'd be hard for them to get back to everyone.

I tried doing that once...
