are economics, psychology, sociology, and health considered academic subjects?

bump.

Thanks in advance.

hey, well, at my school, only courses in math, english, science, and social studies count as academics. so therefore, all three of the courses you listed would be electives. at least that's how my school works. I know when i took psychology AP last year, it was still counted as an elective.

thx for answering my question btw, I would contact them, but i don't have a flat out NO. lol

journey91, at my school, psychology and sociology are considered social science courses. I don't think it'll hurt to list it as a social science class. health, at my school, is a required course as a freshman, it is neither a class or an elective. hope this helps!

at my school economics falls under social studies, and they call psych a "Social Studies Elective" whatever that means...

and health is an elective.

so basically, it's different for all schools, so look in your course descriptions and see which category each falls into :]
