<p>There's two separate spaces on some summer program applications I'm filling out. I don't get the difference. What do I put in each?</p>
<p>well, in that case, they want to know what extra things you’re doing academically, say extra math courses on saturday or what not, and extracurricular would be non academic stuff, but you’re right they can overlap.</p>
<p>So…extracurricular would be like music and sports, and academic would be tutoring people’s writing and whatnot?</p>
<p>EDIT: Apparently ‘academic interests’ can also mean future career stuff…should I put that down, too?</p>
