<p>I believe that those are 6 week and 12 week exams. If you look at the following week for each there is a date at which grades are due. The Mids do get 6 week and 12 week grades, however they do not figure into SQPR.</p>

<p>Correct, these are exam periods. You are correct that the 6 and 12 week grades do not figure into the actual SQPR, but at 6 and 12 weeks the PSQPR (projected SQPR) is calculated and this mark is used to determine if MIDN are academic SAT/UNSAT. This stat is also used in chits, which can be a determining factor in the approving authority's decision.</p>
