<p>I would suggest that you buy or at least look at some of the various college catalogues out there. You may also want to check the Bowdoin site and read the many posts here on CC. Number 6 LAC ......I think the academics are quite good.....Is there an area that you are interested in?</p>
<p>Probably English, possibly some foreign languages (French?) and most likely some other humanities.</p>
<p>The Government program is considered to be the best among liberal arts colleges. Enviro. Science is quite strong too. I think most basic dpts. are strong.</p>
<p>Bowdoin's reputation is built around it's excellence in academics... top notch really. If you are going to college to eat and party, you could make a more appropriate choice. (well, actually, I think they're ranked in the top five best colleges for food or something... but for partying you could look elsewhere).</p>
