Hi everyone!
I am considering transferring to Tulsa as a Biology major. I would be a junior at the time I reached the campus this Fall. My main reason for wanting to transfer from my current university is academics.
I really like TU’s Biology program, and at my current university, I am afraid I am not learning what will be essential knowledge for my future career due to the professors being great researchers but not necessarily great teachers. I also have really struggled to make friends here, and am hoping that at TU I can better connect with students.
The one thing I am hesitant about leaving is the research lab I currently work in. I am not sure how “available” research positions are for undergrads at TU.
If anyone can tell me about their experiences with/at Tulsa, especially about their academics and professors, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
