:)Jvon I am so happy for you, congrats and enjoy it. You really love ND and it is great to see someones dream come true......i am honestly excited for you!!!!!! :)

Congrats! Obviously, it was meant to be!

Congrats!!! That is great news! What a celebration for the class of 2011! Way to go!

Congrats jvon and everyone else! You must be walking on clouds right now, I did for days after I found out!
Only 3 months, it sounds so close but still so much left to do - like graduate! :)

Congrats future domers ;)

thanks everybody!!!

trackers is right, i hope that C i might get in ap chem that i could get away with going to university of illinois doesn't mess this up! lol

i've seen posts on this before;

all A's and B's + maybe 1 C for someone who has gotten straight A's in high school = grounds to take back admissions!??

hope not

I think a C in AP would be worth much more than a C in reg. chem. And if that's the only C you get that's really good. My school grades a 94 and higher as an A and on down the scale. It's frustrating sometimes to get a 93 and it only counts as a B. Spanish II was hard for me, because Senor R. expected us to only speak in spanish and my accent was bad. I think that was my only C but it didn't help my gpa. :(
Last day tomorrow and graduation Thursdsy night. Yay! :)

It seems that this thread is becoming senior grade thread

My only worries is AP Calculus and AP Spanish other classes I'm not at all worried about b/c I'm pretty sure I'll end up with As or B+s even if I screw up on finals

There's a good possibility that I might get a C in calc... sigh...

I've seen ND's final year grade report form and it asks counselor to attach transcript and asks them if our ranks have changed and by how much it has changed. kinda scary...

hopefully our grade drops aren't "significant" enough to attract adcom's attention

ahhhh i'm scared now

Jeez just how many people got off the waitlist? It sounds like a ton.

Notre Dame expects to take off 100 ~ 130 from the waitlist.

Congratulations to all who got in. Jvon I think I can still hear you jumping up and down here in NY. It is great to share in everyon'e excitement!!! Now enjoy graduation.

ahhhhhh yes 100-130!!!!!!! weren't there 500 that remianed on the waitlist??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
that sounds like a good chance... maybe hopefully...

They are still taking applicants off of the waiting list. We got a call today and my daughter is so thrilled. For those of you waiting, there is hope. Good luck to all of you.

CONGRATULATIONS!
