Accelerated BS/MS or BS with 2 minors?

I'm transferring to Drexel for Materials Engineering - Nanotech track from a college in new jersey. I have a lot of extra space in my schedule because I have to take 4 years due to 18 months co op. I'm trying to decide which would be better in the long run, the accelerated Bachelors/Masters program (it wouldnt take any extra time), or just Bachelors with 2 minors in Bioinformatics (for nanotechnology) and possibly Entrepreneurship. Which would be more lucrative career-wise??

Probably the entrepreneurship. Although I always recommend a masters in the speciality areas. See if you can get at least one entrepreneurship class in if you don’t do the minor.

BS/MS would be more helpful career-wise. Basically no company is going to care about your minors and may even see entrepreneurship as a sign that you are more interested in starting your own company than contributing to theirs. Entrepreneurship is not a qualification for any job I know of, so if your goal is starting your own business, you can basically learn about that stuff on your own since there is no reason to have a qualification for it.

On the other hand, in almost every field an MS opens more doors than a BS alone or a BS with minors, so you would likely be better off doing that.

hmm. well that is my goal to start my own production company, but i do want to work a bit before that. i just worked out my schedule and i actually have room to do the Masters and one minor, which will probably be the Bioinformatics. so i’ll probably just try to squeeze in some business classes if i get space. thanks guys!
