i think i got accepted but i'm not sure. To people who got accepted did you get an email and then being transfer to another page that basically has a movie saying "congratulations" ? I look at that but it's so vague that i can't really believe it. Please confirm it.

^ i found out i was accepted via the mycalpoly portal first. it said so under the acceptance status link. then a couple days later, i got the email that led me to the congratulations page. so yes, you're in =)

wow, seems like we've all been accepted and this just builds the competition for housing...and just when you thought you could relax, we've now got to worry about getting a dorm, ugh.

jus got in today lol

i wasnt even expecting an acceptance because i didnt pay for my app fee...
i clicked cash/mail by accident at the end of the app process...so i was like *** damn screw this. and never mailed the fee.

do we really need an account on mycalpoly for anything except to find out our status? I think i lost my info somewhere and have no idea what's my usernam or password. It sucks too since cal poly make up the rule about password have to contain certain symbols and letters, that make it harder to remember.

d is accepted for BS Biological Science
w GPA around 4.3 ish, uw 3.83 (regular, not UC-GPAs)
ACT 29 single sitting, 30 combined sittings
above avg ECs

I love Cal Poly and have friends who have both of their kids at Cal Poly...but when we visited there d didn't like something about it..I think something about the town itself she didn't like..I still think its a great school and a good value- we'll see what happens
I would like to see better availability of on campus campus housing though

Good luck with your decisions, everyone!

It's a rich, quiet town with not much to do. I hope I get in. I hear Architectural Engineering is mighty competitive, though, so I don't have my hopes up.

Many of you are listing uc gpa's. Cal Poly uses your 9th-11th grade gpa. Could you please list the gpa they actually use for admissions.

Cal Poly is awesome. I'm super glad i went here. It's beautiful and the Triathlon team kicks ass

Cal Poly takes the UC gpa, it doesnt have its own scale.

I cut and pasted this directly from the Cal Poly web site

Section one - College prep GPA
This GPA is constructed by Cal Poly and comes from courses taken during the 9th to 11th grades, with honors points granted for courses designated as "honors" on a high school transcript, for up to eight semesters.
