northwestern hpme, wayne state medstart, and Cincinnati’s dual admissions pathway. going to hpme, i think

For combined programs, I ended up getting accepted to RPI/AMC, GW/GW, Rochester REMS, and Case PPSP. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted, and best wishes to prospectives. I’m going to Rochester next year and actually really enjoyed the emotional tsunami that is the application process, so message me if you have any questions.

Congratulations!

I got into Northwestern HPME and a few others. I’ve narrowed it to two, but waiting to get more information. Would love to exchange emails privately if you are inclined. I am torn and need to understand more.

Hey, just wondering, have any of you heard back from the TCNJ / NJMS seven year program?

GWU GMED letter came today. Yeah :)

Miami HPME requires MCAT score of 28. GPA is more rigid - minimum of 3.7. However, in worst case, they let you make up by extending to 4th year.

hey earcandy are you leaning towards either PSU or sophie right now?

Siena/Albany Med program and also VCU Gmed program. anyone thinking of either or them? and does anyone know how premed at Cornell is, say i went the traditional route?

If people are so worried about scoring 28 on MCAT, I am not sure what to assume of you all. I was under the impression that people got into NU, Baylor, BU programs should be able to score at least 36 on MCAT. I am really suprised to see they are whining about Miami’s GPA and MCAT requirements. I may not have gotten high SAT scores, but I am undaunted by mediocore GPA and MCAT requirements. Any day, I will take Miami.

I am attending Sophie because of their match rate and there’s no way in hell I can afford to pay $55,000 upfront.

I got into SLU med scholars and UofA/NEOUCOM.

I’m heading to NEOUCOM!

Can you please post your stats because I am planning to apply for next year.

satacer,
I strongly advise not to make any assumptions about MCAT. People are not whining, there is no MCAT score that is mediocore, meidocore people simply do not take MCAT. 36 is very rare and to know that you need “only” 28 is an awesome feeling that gives you great peace of mind when you actually sit down to take a test.

Congrats to everybody who got into ANY combined program. You will not be sorry later!
