acceptance letter

Ha ha. I'll do laundry for Chad Henne though. Unless you're Mike Hart or something.

Actually Maguo, if you saw the Adam Sandler movie, Waterboy, you would know that Michigan, in an attempt to duplicate the success of the Waterboy, tried playing their Towelboy at RB. The attempt had disastrous results and the team decided to shelve the idea! hehe

Hah. I think of that every time a Michigan player gets injured on the fireld!

Are you being serious? Why would UM ever try that with all their great runningbacks?

HA Ha. I got in!!! And I'm going to be one of your roomates

It makes me upset that people like you can get in, and some of my friends that are so passionate about the school and respect it so much are getting deferred.

That's life for you.

I agree... maguo1 you aren't going to accept that offer of admisions are you?

Oooh give the guy a break. He knows enough about Michigan football and he is gonna root for us to win tomorrow ... right, maguo?

I completely agree. I would do anything to get accepted to UMich.... but it seems there are a lot of people that have been accepted that dont really care. Its a shame really..... and ticks me off. GO BLUE!

Just because someone wants something a lot doesn't mean they deserve it. Yeah, Maguo said some controversial things, but don't make him feel bad about his acceptance. He obviously had the scores to get in.

When someome applies to a school, and...

talks about how they have trouble grasping how strong the school is,

ridicule students at the school saying that they aren't your caliber,

is uneducated about the school, basing their decisions and opinions based on ranks they see in a magazine,

state that you won't support the athletics at the school,

judge places based on their football fans,

talk about how they will jump off a bridge if this is where they go,

wish that the school loses and that students there suffer heart attacks,

and then when they get accepted, laugh at everyone and speak of how bad it will be to be a roommate of them,

... then I will not support their acceptance, nor will I congratulate them.

I was joking about most of it. I love Michigan football, only behind Penn State and Cal. And I was certainly rooting for Michigan. I hate Ohio State and I wanted PSU to get sole possession of the big ten title. Too bad.
Anyway, when do I get a finaid decision? A very large merit based scholarship would be the only reason I'd ever go. And do I need CSS to get a merit based scholarship?
And how hard is it to get UM football and basketball tickets? That will be a very important factor in whether I go to UM or not.
One last thing: It says I got into the residential college? Is that the honors college or something?
GO BLUE! (What's a wolverine and why do they call it maize instead of yellow?)

Did you check off "Residential College"? When I looked into RC, it seemed like a bunch of artistic people - not something I want so I didn't check it off. Its not an honors college.

So, how do I know if I got into the honor's college?
