maybe....and just maybe....it was a coincidence that all our scores were erased, but none of the others

...not wanting to give anyone paranoia or anything :)

update: now, under the "OFFICIAL" column, it says "yes" for each of my tests, but no score still

i hope this is a good sign (crossing fingers sooo damn hard)

I have that as well

Hm. I have come to determine they mean little to nothing. =3
(atleast that is what I keep telling myself. xD)

you're probably right. but there was some (and still is) panic there!

That is sort of funny. We were all getting freaked out about nothing. They were just updating the system. I noticed that they just added my Oct. 22 ACT scores which were not even there like three hours ago. Most likely they were just making sure that all of the score reports were official and had not been submitted on transcripts or something. Which means that they must be about to meet and decide on all of our fates. Even though I know that I won't find out for like two more weeks (I figure it takes a letter 8 days to get to Alaska from Houston) every time I go online I keep expecting to see Denied for the Admission Status.....

The anticipation is killing me. =(
On a side note, they sure do update their system at a funny time. xD

yeah I was thinking that it was sort of odd for them to be working so late. But maybe if they are really trying to meet the Dec. 15 deadline than some of them may be putting in overtime???? I just want to find out already so I can figure out how hard I have to work on my other college applications.

My counselor confirmed that it being changed was perfectly normal. =3 I'm sure we had all figured that out by now but it's still nice to have confirmation.

Looking at this thread brings back many memories of how I felt around this time of the year last year. Don't get too worried about the online updates! There's nothing you guys can really do now but be patient. I'm estimating that letters could arrive as early as Sat., December 10th.

Best of luck to everyone!

I am new to CC and I am also an ED applicant to Rice. I am counting on getting my letter on Monday because I live in Texas. The wait is killing me!

I was accepted to Houston University (Not that hard. At all.) and they said they sent out my acceptance letter the 2nd but I still have yet to recieve it! (And I know I am accepted because it sas so online.) =\ Makes me wonder how long it really takes mail to go from Houston to El Paso, TX.

Are you from El Paso, TX? Me too!!! Are you another ED applicant to Rice?

Yes, I am! What school do you go to? o_O

I'm a T-bird from CHS. And you?

=O No freakin' way! I go to Coronado too. I probably know you and you probably know me. Or we've probably at least passed in the halls once or twice. Who knows?

Oh wow!!! That is so wierd. I really want to know who you are now! Hopefully we will go on to be future owls together.

Haha. I'm Elaine Harwell. Chances are you probably don't know me though.

No, I don't know you and I doubt you know me, I am an IB kid. So anyway, 1 week till we will know for sure!!! I am so scared but excited at the same time.

=3 I'd have been in IB but I went to Bel Air my first two years of HS (Health Magnet Program.)
And I am scared as well- I wish they'd just email us if we were accepted or not. =P
