when do we find out online/in the mail if we got in ED??? i'm so nervous!

So far, duke.edu only gives "mid-December". But for the past few years people have found out online on December 15.

i want to find out NOW!! i want to tie up my admissions officer and make her tell me... gah i want to know, that way i can decide whether or not to study for my physics test now. i hate vectors.

I hate vectors too!

Ok vectors are so easy... You must not be in AP if you are doing vectors right now?

taking physics as a senior must really suck.

at least ur a humble bluedevil

well to some, who aren't planning on being an engineering-type major (looking into the humanities), vectors are not my thing. i just can't visualize different momentums or frictions on an incline as a vector... just me though

did anyone go on the penn board? apparently there are some GC who have been notified if their student has been accepted or not? will duke do this? but honestly, i doubt it's true.

Twinkletoes, visualizing was the key for me in vectors

last year we found out online on December 15th at 6pm

gah, that's friday night. I want to know before friday night (thursday at 12pm?) so that way, i can go out and celebrate or whatnot.

is this eastern time?

Yes, it is eastern time. I just spoke with Christoph Guttentag (the dean of admissions) a few hours ago and he said that most of the decisions have been made but the still have a few to go over. He said they would decide by the 13th or 14th.

can we call the admission officer and ask if they've made our decision or not? GAH????!!??

No, they won't tell you over the phone. You have to wait like everyone else.

i knew that was the case. but i wanted some hope. lol
