Acceptance letters?

My acceptance from SUNY Binghamton was in a small envelope. Just remember a big thick envelope isn't always an acceptance either. I recevied a big envelope from Penn State University Park with a rejection letter. They threw in a packet with information on their satellite campuses that they wanted me to apply to.

"Important Admission Materials Inside" <~~~ In Bold. ^_^

Imagine a guy seeing a small envelope from Yale, breaking down and throwing it away, and then jumping out of the window.. And it turns out it was an acceptance. Saddest thing is it probably it happened already.

I never understood why people got nervous and wouldn't open the letter for days... a friend of mine had an acceptance letter for a whole week before she got the courage to open it. Crazy, IMO. I mean, the answer is printed already and it's not going to change.

Back to the topic... one of my acceptances was in a regular size envelope with a single sheet in it.. I was sure I had been rejected(but I opened it as soon as I got it!)

"u are so nervous when u see that letter than when u see a small one a lotta people break down rite away"

oh, i know that feeling very well unfortunately
