lol, sorry guys. A SSS is actually a general use form that has space to describe and justify your unique request and can be used for almost anything. I have one that says I'm allowed to have a bike in my room. Usually they have to be signed by several cadets (element leader, flight commander, and squadron commander) before the AOC signs it, but only the AOC's signature really matters. The others are for coordintion purposes only.

I'm going to stick my neck out here. Am I asking for a miracle for someone in
Cobra/Reb Eleven to start the SSS request for my son? I am bringing his guitar on my flight to COS 8/7. I will be at the Academy for the Parade on 8/8. My son's sponsor family has offered to keep the guitar until my son is able to obtain permission, however it would be a GREAT SURPRISE if I could give it to him after the parade. If you are able, send me a private message so that I can provide you more info. Thanks Much!!!

I have read in other forums that they can have electric heating pads, is this true?

Heating pad? Like a hot pot? These are privleges that may be granted later in the year -- I'm assuming you are asking for a 4-degree. Maybe after Christmas or Recognition near the end of spring semester.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
A heating pad is not a hot pot, it is a small pad used for warming of parts of the body. It works great for sore muscles!
The pads are electrical or chemical and look like this:

P.S. Yes, my son is a 4-degree

One of those should be fine, I see no reason why not.
