anyone know what the acceptance rates are for each specific school?

They are both like 21%, but the SFS applicant pool is much more competitive.

thats BS, im a student here, and im not in the college or the sfs, and i can say for sure that college and sfs students are all, on the average, at the same level in terms of accomplishments.
moreover, once you are a student here, you can prety much transfer between schools without question from your dean. there are no stricter standards from transferring from any of the other three schools to the sfs. therefore, if you can get into GU, you can get into any school within it that you want.

it's actually not bs. if you check the AAP newsletter, it gives the stats for the ea application pool and the SAT score range.

                      College SFS MSB NHS Total

Applied 2,312 972 543 176 4,003
Accepted 494 207 154 53 908
Acceptance Rate 21.4% 21.3% 28.4% 30.1% 22.7%
Percentile Rank 97.9 97.3 96.5 93.8 97.2
SAT-Verbal 700-770 720-790 660-750 660-720 690-770
SAT-Math 690-760 680-760 680-760 650-720 680-760

those stats are from December 2004 bc I don't have the newsletter from December 2005.

sorry it didn't format correctly- just make it into columns, so college would match up with 2312, 494, 21.4, 700-770, and 690-760.

I was told directly from the adcom that the College is the hardest to get into as most people put undecided on their application, which puts them in the College application pool.

My interviewer told me that the admittance rate at the University was going to be lower during EA this year than in the years previous, so not to worry if I were deferred (I am applying to SFS). That was how the Alumni Interviewers were prepped by the University this year, so I can only take that as being the truth. But maybe it was a nice way of telling me that I wouldn't be accepted EA ;)

Less people are going to be accepted EA this year or more people are applying, therefore bringing the % down??
Either way, not good for me!
Does anyone know the stats this year--how many people applied early??

Voguepanda- over 4500 people applied early, up from 4051 last year. NHS over doubled its pool from 156 to 316. College went up about two- or three-hundred. MSB and SFS stayed about the same from last year.

Here is the link you want:

Thank you very much!
Atleast SFS didn't go up by very much!
