So I reported the wrong education for my parents, saying they both went to “some college” when my mom graduated from university in another country. I also reported the wrong number of family in my household since my mom remarried but my stepdad lived in another country, so he shouldn’t have been counted… I requested to change this on my application and I’m pretty sure it’s been updated, but just in case, would this cause my acceptance to be rescinded? I’m taking Advanced Journalism but didn’t report it in my application either… Yikes! Would that cause an issue? Also, I have to keep my GPA above a 3.0, but is that weighted or unweighted? Thank you in advance!
I don’t think it would impact your admittance since it doesn’t relate to your actual information with gpa and sat scores and all of that. If it were on fafsa you would definitely want to make sure it was accurate because that can impact how much aid you are given.
Your transcript needs to match your self reported grades and courses, so if you did not report your Advanced Journalism class (is it an a-g course?) then you need to email admissions so they have a record. They will check your final transcript against your application so you want to be as accurate as possible.
