I'm really interesting in UMass Amherst as of late, and I was wondering if anyone could roughly give me an idea if I even have a chance of getting in?
I currently have a 3.0 GPA (that is only for the first half of my junior year), that should most likely go up to a 3.1 (possibly a 3.2) by the end of the school year. I took the ACTs this past February and got a 20, but it was my first time out so I wasn't expecting much. I'm aiming for anywhere between a 22-25. I've been doing a lot of prep work so hopefully when I take them this Saturday (eeek!), I'll receive a better score. Any advice would be great.
Thanks!

Your GPA is a bit low, but you have a chance, pull up your ACT if you can to try and help balance it out.

if you can bring it up to a 3.3 by midterms of your senior year and get above 1600 combined score on the SATs, you should be all set
