All of us this year are living at Race and thats where freshmen bs/mds usually live, that’s weird that it filled up. Check the option to apply there if you can and you might get it. The nicest dorm next to race is Van R (its suite style too), but its the farthest dorm from your classes. I’d rate the others in this order: Kelly, Towers, and then Calhoun

are you sure race is filled up? that’s really disappointing. i wish i was 18 and i could sign my own housing application but i still haven’t gotten a parent pin number!

how could race fill up? do the honors upperclassmen stay in there for all 4 yrs?

wait football, how did u know race was full? did it tell u immediately when u clicked “yes” for it?

when i applied like just today, i was able to click yes and have it ranked as #1
does that mean race still let me in?

Race should not be full yet. This year they have non-honors students on the bottom few floors, likely because there weren’t enough honors students to fill the dorm up. As long as you apply for housing before the deadline you should be almost guaranteed a spot in Race. If by chance you don’t get it, you can probably choose to move in winter term when some of the internationals on the top two floors go back to their respective countries.

In my professional opinion, I’d go with Towers Hall. (take a look at the drexel message board and you’ll find a post where i compare the pros/cons of the dorms side by side)

thanks sj
i’m calling the honors college monday, will they know whether or not i’ve gotten a spot in race? or at least know whether or not race is full for next year?

hey my bad…my housing app wouldnt let me pick race so i though it was full but apparently they didnt register my name for the honors college even though i confirmed it…
sry for the confusion:(

hey guys so i officially paid my deposit to drexel. is anyone else going to drexel for the bs/md program?(next year)

no worries fb

wait there is a facebook group just for bs md kids?

nevermind found it…

just of curiosity, how would you rank the three undergrads on the ease of acceptance in the program, or do they all pretty much look at the same things

hey guys i have a small dilemma. i forgot to send the verification paper with my signature to Drexel Medical School. However i sent my deposit last week. is it possible that they would still take it on monday (since it was due on friday) or would they cause problems and what not?

nevermind… its all good now

infmous what’s your stats

hey everyone,
i was wondering how important ap scores are now, if you are accepted into the bs/md program. I enrolled and sent in my deposit and everything, so im just worried about my scores. i take ap euro tomorrow, and i legitimately could get a 2, so…does it matter? I mean, im going to be a bio major anyway. and that brings me to my next point. im taking the ap bio test and am expecting a 5. should i take the credit for it if im going to be a bio major? or will that only make it harder for me to get a good gpa to start with?
