I think pretty much anywhere you go you're going to get some characters at 4 am in Wal-mart, but I can bear witness, that yeah, Wal-mart does bring out the best of our community in the early morning. I'm always impressed at how many people are there, even when it's like midnight or 1 am.

Dal -- I seriously think you need to immediately stop looking at tech schools. You really do not sound like a person that will be happy at one. All the things you've commented on are pretty common to all the "tech" schools (RPI, WPI, RIT, Rose...). It sounds to me like you will be more successful at a broader university. Just my 2 cents.

And thats why Rose is the only tech school on my list at the moment, I'm not condemning a university when I haven't even visited it.

Also, I never asked for your opinion: Its moot to me. I have my own priorities that could be entirely different from what you think they are.

^ Hey Dal, you're on a public forum, remember? You get unsolicited help.

I hardly consider that to be help, more like spite from my experience of RPI, and/or RIT, and/or what I said I had heard about WPI and never stated as fact. I'm not going to continue to argue, especially when it doesn't even pertain to Rose-Hulman.

We've gone off topic quite a bit and changed subjects several times, so now lets try to get back on topic.

So......are classes hard at Rose Hulman? <coughcough> ;)</coughcough>

Yes. They move fast, and have challenging homework and tests. I've never had a purely multiple choice/true-false test. They always involve problem solving and/or explanatory questions.

But lots of people make it every year, so don't be too freaked out about it.

ACCEPTED! woohoo! Life is good.
I want to thank Nic, the admissions staff, my high school teachers and counselors, my parents, and everyone else who made this moment possible.
I feel wonderful.

As before, I've been accepted, but tonight I submitted my deposit.. I'll be attending RHIT in the class of 2012!

Congrats, bperboy!
