<p>I haven't technically been denied from UR yet, but I've gotten all of my other letters and I figure they would have sent one already if I got accepted.</p>

<p>or the cornell admission decision person was drunk that night, and went "oh look, here's a mediocre student with mediocre grades, how about JUST for kicks, I accept him. hhaha, just for kicks. that is going to be so funny"</p>

<p>Just be patient. Some schools take longer than others to give decisions. You can call them and ask what the status is, but don't jump to conclusions based on a guess.</p>
<p>But congratulations for getting the other letters, so at least you don't have much to worry about.</p>

<p>Ya you haven't even gotten ur letter from the other school. BTW schools DO reject people if they think they are applying as a safety even if they aren't. Accepting a too-amazing person would hurt their matriculation rate because that person wouldn't end up going to that school.</p>

<p>I got into UR last weekend; it just took them longer than Cornell to accept me. </p>

<p>hey i got accepted from HE cornell and rejected from cuny honors. CUNY honors (cuny= city university of new york)</p>
<p>I've been accepted by Cornell and waitlisted from Trinity University. I'll never understand how admission works ;)</p>
<p>Yeah, I got waitlisted at WashU...I was like...ummmm</p>
