accepted b.arch portfolios

hello,
i was wondering if anybody accepted to b.arch would share their portfolio with me. i am unable to visit the department in person and have not found any examples online. i am trying to transfer into the program for the fall and therefore would like to get a general idea of the caliber of portfolios.
thanks

8orchard8 - hi, i have no link to my portfolio but i might be able to give some heads up. i’ve been accepted to b.arch and i’ve seen many other portfolios which have been accepted and i noticed how every portfolio varied in style. but the fluidity within each portfolio was very strong; meaning, each portfolio looked strongly as if one same person with one same style had done the works.

it is mandatory for cornell to see your free-hand drawings. an ideal total amount of total artworks is around 17 or 18. i would say a very ideal distribution would be 14 freehand drawings with pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, etc, 3 sculptures or other 3-d artworks, and 1 to 3 miscellaneous things like an artistic video or photographs and such. but do understand that this is only my opinion and you can deviate from this distribution quite a lot without hurting your admissions process.

when i went to the info session last year, they said they liked bicycles. that’s a good heads up too.

good lucks!

I am fairly familiar of what they are looking for within the portfolio, I was just very interested to see the quality of work that is being accepted.
