Accepted but not going there?

I was accepted to USF in November 2010, et got numerous scholarships (including the 52,000$ one) and was accepted into their honors program.
Unfortunately, USF was my back-up school, and UCF my #1.

Tonight, a number called me but I did not answer. A voicemail was left, and it was a lady from USF that knew my name and wanted to talk to me about the Honors program, and the scholarships I got.

How do you deny your acceptance to USF? I emailed them a few months ago saying this, but I guess they did not get the message.

You have to mail a hard copy to the admissions office.

What do you mean?
Send a typed-letter to them?

Maybe the lady from USF called looking to get the $52,000 back! Return her call, listen to what she has to say–maybe they have a sweeter proposal; inform her that you will not be enrolling at USF if that is your decision. Too, as a courtesy, maybe send another email to USF admission office reminding them you are not enrolling at USF.

Yes, that is what I meant. They actually process hard copies from snail mail faster than anything electronic.

So a typed letter or phone call?
Thank you!
