Accepted Early Decision, What do I do now?

It is worth it to let the GC know about students' not withdrawing their apps. If those students end up backing out of their ED decisions, that could hurt other students at your school. That's what happened at S's school when a student got accepted ED, didn't tell her GC, and then accepted RD at another university. The ED school called the GC and blamed the GC, and the next year, a girl who really wanted to go to that ED school and had the stats for it was rejected.

nope ... online friends..

it's soo crazzy how competitive kids who post at CC are tho, stats are off the charts and they are grabbing schools by applying to 10-15 some 20 schools..................

Congratulations on your acceptance to UR.

My son got ED accepted to RPI with UR a close second.
He is also experiencing senioritis.

Live & learn.

khant1m , i dont see why you think there is a link between off the wall stats and applying to tons of places... i think its the opposite the better ur stats the less places you apply cause ur chances are better ... also people apply to more and more places no cause its fun ( after all it costs close to $100 per app) but cause its so competitive nowadays.... for example i have so so stats sat in the 1300 range so i applied to about 15 places so i am pretty sure ill end up in some place next year... another reason is that now with online app and the common app its much easier to do multiple apps so why not...
