ACCEPTED: Fordham Lincoln Center into Theater program!

Just recieved a letter today to tell us that my D was accepted to Fordham at Lincoln Center into their theater program!! I had guidance have her call me to open it with her! This is her first choice and it is so exciting!! Hope others get a letter today too!
It is the notification before the real admit letter comes at the end of March. I am so proud of her! Good luck to all of you that audtioned!

Congratulations. Its a prestigious and rigorous program.

Hey Do Work. Congrats.
Do you mind posting your daughters SAT/GPA and whether she was defered or not?

Thanks so much :]

jmsb… my D was regular decision due to her audtioning for the theater program. She was not deferred. She sent in her application for early decison but was told it didn’t pertain to theater applicants. We expected the letter by April 1 and it was a direct early admit letter for the theater program. Academics and talent are measured 50/50 so it’s not all academic based. She had 3.7 GPA ( Honors and pre college courses) and 1160 SAT. Good luck to you and let them know if it’s your first choice, it helps!

congrats. Hopefully I will get my answer soon. I applied RD too, sent my application in in December.

My daughter was accepted to I think the same program. She is a dancer and an actress but dance is her passion.

I was aware that this was her first choice although accepted to other programs earlier. Why is my question if someone can help me with this.

Thanks

My sister was accepted at the Rose Hill campus. She is a very accomplished actor; waitlisted at Emerson as well. What opportunities are there for an actor at Rose Hill?

theres an acting program at rose hill? I thought it was only at Lincoln Center…
