It says on their website that they start rolling out decisions after Feb 1 and that everyone will hear before April 1. So, has anyone heard yet?
Not yet! I think we have very similar schools on our list. Lincoln Center campus for S - how about you?
Rose Hill for my daughter. She was awestruck by the Gothic architecture.
Our list: Rutgers (accepted but still waiting on Mason Gross for art), University of Delaware (accepted with merit $), Temple (accepted with merit $), UConn (still waiting), Fordham (still waiting), Syracuse (still waiting but she did really well on the Portfolio review/interview and her grades and test scores are very competitive).
@magnetnh would you mind sharing your son’s list?
Clark University, University of Hartford, St. John’s (accepted with merit), Temple accepted but waiting on FA. FIT, Drew, Holy Cross waiting on decision. UConn awaiting decision but will be full ride for in state students from our city that meet certain requirements which S does. Trinity College and Providence College deferred.
Fingers crossed for UConn! Awesome school and a free ride would be incredible. TU (Tyler) is pretty generous with out of state financial aide. Cool that we have three schools in common!
Hi. In a similar place here. Waiting on Fordham, too. S in at Minnesota. Also waiting on Syracuse, Loyola Marymount, and UCLA. He auditioned for the acting programs at these schools. In at several other schools with less competitive theatre programs not requiring auditions, including Clark. I love the Jesuit approach and would love to see him at Fordham. Hopefully, he will hear in about two weeks.
We’re waiting on Fordham as well. D is in at Saint Louis University and Loyola Chicago; deferred at Georgetown, so not counting on that. She applied for Rose Hill.
Last year’s notifications started coming in on 3/15 so hopefully around the same time this year. One school S applied to has an April 1 date and I don’t know if we are going to be able to make it until then…
Ugh! Yes. And I need to know financial aid package too. Some of these private universities are crazy expensive and we don’t qualify for needs based aid.
My daughter got into UConn on Feb 12. Awesome school but my child is hesitant about attending college in such a rural setting. She wanted a city school. She got into Temple with merit aid but would love to be in NYC.
Also waiting for Fordham Rose Hill plus Muhlenberg, RPI, BU, NU, American. In at Miami (FL), WPI, Stony Brook, Pitt, Minn, Maryland, Arizona.
S17 wants a real campus and prefers a small/med private but we need merit so, of course, we have to apply wider and to publics because you can take absolutely nothing for granted this year. S19 now at UConn got into Fordham a while back but went with big campus+engineering so no Fordham.
@JerseyMom2022 We were just at the Fordham accepted students day and the financial aid director strongly encouraged everybody to apply for financial aid. He said “do not assume you will not qualify.”
