Accepted into ASU

For now...

I was accepted into ASU as an Economic major with a 2.9 GPA and 1900 SAT.

So far, my senior year has been going alright, except for Calculus, which I have failed for the year.

Am I screwed? What is the likelihood that my acceptance will be rescinded?

To clarify further, every other final grade for my senior year will be no less than a B.

That’s Economics, English, Finance, Forensic Science, Contemporary Issues, and Political Science with at least a B or above final grade.

Yes, there’s a chance your admission will be revoked. You need to talk do whatever you can to get a “C” grade. If you can’t do that, you need to talk to ASU and ask if they’ll let you in if you go to summer school and get a passing grade. You’ll have a better chance of maintaining your admission if you contact ASU – and offer to retake the class – instead of waiting to hear from them since they’re just likely to revoke you if you don’t contact them.

NSM has given you excellent advice. There is a ton of calculus in Economics so you should really make studying it a priority this summer.

This is all true, even though it’s ASU?

Come on, I mean it’s ASU.
