General Comments: I’m really happy that I got into UMich! It’s a really good school that doesn’t cost much for IOS. Now I’m gonna have to wait a while to hear about Ross Preadmit.</p>
<p>The only thing I don’t like is my GPA - I really hate how UMich drops 9th grade and all non-academics then recalculates your GPA. It’s unfair. They don’t even account for more rigorous courseloads with the recalculated GPA, so if you take many APs or Honors it isn’t reflected in the UM GPA, even though someone with a 3.7 UM GPA with many APs/Honors would be more prepared than one with a 4.0 GPA taking regular classes.</p>
