-Nope.
-Yep, i’ll be dorming at UCI…Not sure between mesa and middle earth…I’ll have to do more research.

-I’m half Filipino and half white. I love to hang out, I played football, played piano for years (and sort of hated it), I love video games, and I love to have a good time. I’m also known as someone who randomly bursts out into song. I find programming to be pretty fun, and its a good career field, so I decided why the hell not major in it?</p>

<p>Yes! I love the school. I figured all UC’s might be a stretch for me…but I got into UCSD for Computer Science as well, so I guess I am not doing TOO bad. I am a transfer from a CCC with a GPA > 3.5. I only applied to four UC’s and three CSU’s. I got into two of the CSU’s and was denied at UC Riverside. I haven’t heard back from UCLA yet. Tis a stretch, haha. But UCI was my choice school. I love it :)</p>

<p>Names Mari, from Sacramento. Born and raised. Been all over the place for school (in cali that is) for the first two years of CCC I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do. I even tried out a semester at Art school (figured out it wasn’t my scene) so I tried my hand at a hobby id had for a long long time, programming! Turns out I am good at it, and so set off to finish my GE’s. Finished all of them within a year and then TAG’d for Informatics at UCI–my intended major Got accepted, woo! Outside of school, I love gyming it up, running, playing games, reading books and exploring. I LOVE hanging with friends and just chilling to watch movies :)</p>

<p>I got in for Aerospace Engineering.</p>

<p>I am not a Regent scholar and I don’t even know what CHP is haha</p>

<p>If I decide to go to UCI, I would probably get an apartment off campus rather than dorm there.</p>

<p>Honestly, Irvine isn’t one of my top choices…Even though I love the area, it was one of my backups.</p>

<p>I’m from Southern California, just 40 minutes away from Irvine actually (which is part of the reason it wasn’t higher on my list; it’s too close! haha)</p>

<p>I’m a first generation Mexican American transfer student from a CCC. I have about a 3.51 GPA, which isn’t great, but I finished all of my major transfer classes and have tons of extracurriculars including over 1000 hours of volunteering at a drug rehab center. I’ve also worked on a few research projects including one that I presented to a panel of engineers at a research symposium last Fall.</p>
