I have had phone calls accepted financial aid and signed up for housing. After logging into my cal poly portal today it says I was denied admittance. I was just checking up on something. Is there a glitch in the system has this happened to anyone else?

That’s odd, did you ever send them your transcripts right after you were accepted? If not, that may be why it was rescinded possibly or it is a glitch, you definitely need to call asap like slolearner said though.

Yeah man. All colleges have required transcripts due by a certain date. Check the deadline if you have missed it cal poly has the right to drop your admission. If not, it is a glitch but you should call admissions no matter what!

I actually called admissions today and asked if they have denied admission to already accepted students for not sending in transcripts on time & the lady told me that they have not denied admission for transcripts & that if you send the transcripts in by july then everything should be fine… Maybe there is a glitch in the system for those of you who have the denied status, or maybe the transcripts that they received shows that you did not fulfill the requirements? you should call and see what happend

You have to send in transcripts twice. Once when you first get accepted to show that the classes you reported are actually in progress or completed and then after that you have to send in your final transcript with the grades for your in progress classes by July 15th. If you don’t send the first transcript right after you get accepted I think that would be grounds for them to rescind your admission, but it could be a glitch, you never know.

Does anyone know if we can somehow look at the app that we sent in?? I just want double check and make sure i am taking all the classes I needed to be taking

I was paranoid a while back about the same thing so I went onto CSU Mentor and I was able to review over my app. Just log on and go to your submitted app and you should be able to view it no problem
