<p>not yet i think the acceptances will more than likely be this afternoon from fed/ex. i know that there is a before 10am option which is more expensive, or an afternoon option for Fed/ex. It would have saved a lot of money to just send them out not on overnight, but if i had to guess we will get our acceptances (hopefully) this afternoon</p>
<p>The Tang Scholarship is endowed by money donated by the current chairman of the board of Andover Oscar Tang. He donated something like 30 million to Andover I believe. He used to work on Wall street in some capacity. In fact I am starting to think all of the chairman of the board of these various schools are connected to Wall Street in one way or another. Hotchkiss' equivalent is a Hotchkiss Scholar. As has been said it is also based on FA but they go above and beyond what you actually need. For instance Hotchkiss scholars are given a stipend of $850 dollars, a free lap top, free trips abroad, sports equipment, music lessons , and such things. I am assuming it is the same with the Tang Scholar thing. Congrats on getting the scholarship you should be proud of yourself !</p>
