I asked this in an other thread, but for those with the sixth tab, does it detail your financial award when you click on the tab, or does it say that the award is not available at this time? I have the sixth tab, but when I click on it, it says that the award is not available at this time. Thanks.

yeah same here- in the acceptance package it said to click that tab and we’d be prompted to input a PIN, but when i click the tab it says something like my info was faulty, and i might be missing a necessary document (i’m not)

Hanita, I’m wondering that too.
I’m an international applicant from Singapore, and I have the ‘Financial Award Notification’ tab.

Unfortunately the (hypothetical) acceptance package could take quite a while to get here, so I have no real way of confirming anything… My NYU acceptance package was delivered by UPS and I received it yesterday, about two weeks after the acceptance email.

Snookie123, I did not have the tab and I was waitlisted.

Any Californians hear yet?

I’m way too scared to check for the 6th tab on agora.
I already got rejected by three schools today alone. All a little harder than BC though.

misanthropos, I also have the tab, and I didn’t apply for any finantial aid. Now what does THAT mean.

i love bc! i ll prbbly see u guys this! yr:)

Six Tab Question:

My S is 5 four 5 on acceptances all with the best merit scholarships but zero need based financial aid. Is there any chance that the six Fin Aid Award tab is not connected to an acceptance but to those who qualify for a needs based “aid award”…? BC is a safety for my child… I have heard that their acceptances/rejections can be surprising?

Honestly, I was cautiously optimistic about BC but not to the point of calling it a safety school. Clearly BC is not a safety school anymore. They are flat out rejecting extremely qualified applicants. Very competitive. As far as the tab, some did not even apply for FA and have the tab so I don’t think it matters what form of FA you’re receiving. Good luck.

accepted yesterday.

3.91

see you all at BC!

We have heard stories from last year’s grad. class that were very odd. A student in the top 5 of 500 with A average, 750+ SATs, 33 ACT, 3 sports and other stuff… received a rejection while another seriously “average” student was accepted in the the honors program. This has happened at my S’s school several times and we are starting to see the same trend this year. I am very curious about this. This process is very interesting.
