Accepted to class of 2013

do you have internet explorer? I just read something about using that website and then enabling cookies and maybe it will work. Of course, I've already tried logging in to agora too many times so mines disabled for 35 minutes and I can't try this out

XX55XX-- what are your tabs???

xx55xx, what are you SAT scores, if you don't mind me asking?

um i have no clue if my 'cookies' are enabled. haha
but i tried it on internet explorer and firefox and no luck

xx5xx- how did you guess your password? Can you change it once you get in the first time?

my tabs are...
Application Status, Financial Aid Award Notification, Password Q&A (credentials), Create/Update Email Address, Financial Aid Status, Sign Out of Agora

sowmit, the tabs are:

Application Status
Create/Update Email Address

bosoxnm3:

I have a weighted GPA of 3.8, and my SAT score was an 1890 (670 Reading, 630 Math, 590 Writing). SATII-wise, it was a 610 in Latin, a 600 in English Literature, and an 800 in US History. My essay and recommendation letters were decent, but not outstanding. I have few extracurriculars (which may be my weakest link, apart from my SAT score), but I have volunteered at a local cultural center and am an active participant in my school's student government. Applied to the Carroll School of Management, regular.

Honestly though, with my stats, I wasn't expecting to get in. But it would be nice...

Those are the tabs I have so I don't think that means accepted or rejected cuz I have like 0% chance of getting in. Reason: Bad SAT scores.

XX55XX-- I don't think your SAT score is that bad at all. I mean my friend got in with only 1640 SAT (no kidding). If he gets in, you will get in too. I got my fingers crossed for you.

sowmit, what are your scores?

XX55XX-- i would say you have decent chance of getting in. My friend got in with 1640 SAT but his gpa was higher. UW-3.92 W-4.37

It is just bad. I can't even say it. Sorry :( I am kind of International (I guess) since I have been living in the US for 3 years.

oh whatever, it doesn't even matter really. good luck :)

Don't feel bad, sowmit. Nothing is final until it is.

And even then, I am sure there are many other good universities who will take you in.

Remember - it's not about where you go, it's the fact that you go that counts.

Thanks XX55XX. I already feel good.

SAT's don't really matter... someone from my school got in with a 1100/2400 on the SATs.
You have a chance sowmit.

About 4-5 people from my school got in with scores similar to that.

Well I've heard that a few people from my school have got in. None of them really have stellar grades or extracurriculars at all (though two of them are football players).

Makes me feel a little bit better. I heard that a good number of kids from my school were accepted by BC last year. I guess going to to school in the ghetto and getting good grades still count for something?

XX55XX-- Actually that's what colleges looking for- students who succeed in tough situations.

Thanks for the info Eryi. Makes me feel a little better.

for those that received acceptance letters, did they come in Priority Mail envelopes, or just first class?

Okay, so I had to check.

I got the 6th tab, BUT I'm still suspcious. Guys don't give up hopeeeee
