ACCEPTED to USC!

oh yeah.. umm you know how you can choose an interview date? there seems to be three options for me: two in feburary and one in april...

but isn't april about the time they announce who gets scholarship? it seems a little late.. i dont know whether i should choose one in feb or one in april..

I just realized that I somehow forgot to put my senior courses on my app! Do you think this will hurt my scholarship/acceptance standings?

yes....call them tomorrow

ahhh im anxious... i live in korea :(. the mail takes forever. anyone else overseas get their acceptance?

congrats everyone else :)

Have anyone been accepted to Pre-Med or BA/MD program yet?

hawaii06, someone in India did. But I share your frustration! Good luck!

Do you even have to be accepted to pre-med? It's only an advisement track, so couldn't you just declare pre-med after you're accepted to your major? Maybe some current pre-med student can clarify. :)

Yes, you can be pre-med with almost any major. You didn't need to sign up for it.

are you talking about the bac/md program?

If I recall correctly, when "D" was completing her app last year she had to pick a major and she indicated she was interested in a pre-med track. Her admissions letter read something like:
Major: Neuroscience
Emphasis (? not sure what the word was): Pre-med
So, in short, the admissions letter did reveal both her major along with a pre-med emphasis or tract.

I'm in Illinois...and still haven't heard. I just checked the mailbox... :(

^^in the same situation as kristin....i dont think it would take this long if i was in first wave...maybe second wave...or third...or fourth....damn this sucks

do you guys and gals know how dean scholarship works? is it like presidential and trustee thing?

kristin1227and ridewitbd24- Don't give up yet, my best friend just found out on Tuesday and we live in Northern CA, so yours could still be on the way.

Kristin and Ride, not sure where you guys live in IL, but I live in the Chicago Suburbs and I received mine on Monday. Perhaps if you are midstate or on the southern end, it will take longer to reach you?

haha i live in the suburbs of chicago too..and i definitely didn't get mine so thanks for letting me know though!

i live in northwest suburbs of chicago...bout 15 miles from downtown

Those official letters should be coming soon, because the Explore USC dates are less than a month away!

Hey, does anybody know if it's not okay for my grandma to take me down to LA instead of my parents? They gotta work.
