Accepted: UVA, UNC Chapel Hill, and U Michigan. Chances for Berkeley?

Hey everyone, so I was accepted to the U Michigan, virginia, and chapel hill, all out of state. I still have my heart set on Berkeley though so I was wondering how those colleges’ admission rates compare to that of UC Berkeley’s? I won’t go into all my stats, but background info-1440 SAT score, hispanic, lots of extracurricular including internship with large company directly under the CEO and winning states in tennis. Also, I’m from Florida so Id be oos for berkeley as well. Thank you!

Why post this in the UVa thread, as opposed the the ‘What are my chances?’ thread…?

Among the very competitive universities, admissions are unpredictable. Different colleges are looking for different things, and some are more data driven than others. For example, every year, certain students get admitted to UVa and not W&M, while others get admitted to W&M but not UVa.

You’re obviously a smart kid to have gotten in OOS to those schools. Now, put those smarts to work and do the research yourself on admission rates!

Not sure what you plan to study, but I have heard that it’s hard to get your classes at Berkeley (and many california public schools). Students don’t always graduate in 4 years. You might look into this because that will increase your tuition by staying longer. Im not familiar with UNC or Mich.
