<p>I sent in my application a few days ago and I was wondering if anyone has already heard back? I heard that they are usually pretty quick to respond if you submit your application in september, but I wasn't entirely sure. I'm hoping to find out within the next two weeks.</p>

<p>really? that late? because a classmate of mine sent in her application around september 3rd or 4th, and received her notification of her acceptance about 5 days ago.</p>
<p>When my S applied three years ago the acceptances started coming in November. Was your friend a recruited athlete?</p>
<p>no, not at all. she’s a classmate. she has much lower board scores and a lower GPA than mine (not to mention fewer ECs, but that’s not very important for PSU). nothing very exceptional about her application.</p>
<p>OP - A five-day turnaround on a PSU acceptance AND also receiving the acceptance in September sounds extremely unusual. Are you certain that your friend received an “acceptance,” or rather (more likely), was it an indication that the application was complete? A five day turnaround for noting that the application is complete would be routine.</p>
<p>PSU begins to send out acceptances in November.</p>

<p>I’m pretty certain that she received an acceptance. it has been listed on Family Connection (Naviance) by our school as well. It might just be because we are international students though.</p>
