@Schroder Physics is one of the strongest majors at CWRU. You can also choose a Physics/Math major, which
lets you skip one physics lab and take more math, if you believe you want to study computational or theoretical physics in graduate school. Last year CWRU physics grads got into Stanford, Berkeley, Cornell, Michigan, U of Illinois and many other PhD programs. You do need to work hard, and find research work in the summers to succeed at admission to the top PhD programs. The Case physics professors will help you get into Physics REUs in the summers and the research work at Case is well worth getting involved in. Also, you can take graduate level physics and math classes to get a bachelors degree in physics if you wish. Also CWRU has a carefully prepared set of study materials for you to study for the Physics GRE exam, which is required to get into many PhD programs. The Physics GRE exam is given twice a year at Cleveland State University, a train ride away from CWRU. Finally, CWRU has a Putnam Math team, which may interest you. Good luck. (my kid graduated in physics/math recently)
